Have you ever wondered the relationship between exercise and sex? Fact is, generally, the fitter you are, the more chances you are going to enjoy your sex life. Below are some of our sex tips for men that include exercises that will improve your sex life as a man.

Bench press

There are sex positions that require good upper body strength, like missionary, standing etc. That is why the bench press is the perfect place to start. Not only will it help build your chest, it will attend to the overall upper body strength.

Here’s how you can do a bench press:

Lie with your back on a flat bench

Lift the bar gently from the rack and hold it over you with a good grip around the middle, this will be your start position

From that position, lower the bar gently across your face, till it reaches the middle of your chest

From there, push the bar up to its start position as you breathe, that’s one count. Do this as much as you want for the desired result.

Make sure to catch enough breath during the exercise and take your time while lowering and lifting the bar.

Sex Tips for Men #2: Push-ups

Push-ups is one of the most common exercises men turn to for chest area development. It is more effective when you combine it with the bench press. It builds up the arm and makes it stronger for positions like missionary, etc.

How to do a standard push-up:

Lie flat on the ground, supported only by your palm and toes

Straighten your legs and arms, be sure your feet are together. Your body should be in one straight line.

Lower your body till it about 1inch just above the group

Stay like that for about a second, then bring yourself back up

This is one turn, do it 14 more times for a complete set. Try to do 3 complete sets a day.

Parallel dips

This is also one of the most effective upper body strength exercises. It is known to strengthen the arm and improve the chest greatly.

How to do the parallel dips:

Place yourself between two parallel bars. Grip the bars, jump and strengthen your arm when they are extended. Such that your body is hanging between the bars and your whole weight is on your arms

Flex your elbow slow and break the right angle between them. Make sure you do not twist

Return to start position by straightening your arms and lifting oneself up

Sex Tips for Men #4: Pull-up

The upper body strength doesn’t comprise of only your chest and arm muscles. There are the back muscles as well, and the pull-up helps to work the back muscle and every other muscle that’s not your arm and chest muscle. This is good for your thrusting and adds more rhythm to reverse cowgirl and riding positions.

How to do pull-ups:

Here you do not need two parallel bars like the parallel dip. You need one

Grip the bar and lift yourself with your arms, pull-up till your chin is above the bar

Then release your arms and come down slowly, with your grip still on the bar

HIIT Cardio

The high-intensity training will give your sex life a serious boost because it will improve your stamina. It will also make you have stronger erections, help your burn hideous fat amongst other benefits.

How to do HIIT:

HIIT can be incorporated in any exercise regime. But you must warm-up before you embark on any HIIT and it should be tailored to your level of fitness. You are to start from the low-intensity training, slowly increase the pace of your training till you reach high intensity depending on what you can bear. Start with a high-to-low ratio of about 1:2, then improve on that.

For instance, on a treadmill, after a warm-up of about 3-5 minutes, you can start by running for a minute and walking for 2 minutes.
