It’s Official: Plans in motion to display sex toys at 2021 Consumer Electronics Show

Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is making plans to display sex toys at next year’s show. Jokes are flying around that the spelling of CES will be “SEX” by next year.

At the CES this year, the technology for sexual pleasure spurred a great wave, motivating the organizing committee of the show. The Post learned that they plan to do it better next year.

As revealed by a reliable source, the success of their experimental show this year impressed them so much that they plan to move their technologically savvy sex section to the prime location from the small corner they accommodated this year.

The section which housed tech-savvy sex toys like vibrators and dildos was held in the Las Vegas Convention Centre.

2021 Show to be Located in the Main Show Area!

The plan for 2021 is to place the once small sex toys section in the centre of the buzz at the convention alongside big players like Sony, Uber, and Samsung. Great company!

This year was the first time they decided to give technically advanced sex toys companies a space at the trade show to display their products and join the prize competition – because they were damned the previous year for prudishly denying the high-end vibrator its earned award, favoring the stripper robots and ‘booth babes.’

Before this year’s convention, they specifically stated that the dedicated space given for sex toys was on an experimental basis so people shouldn’t get too comfortable. That was their reason for giving them booths at a corner called the Sands Expo – far from where most major players displayed their products at the convention.

CES Never Imagined the Volume of Attendees that Visited this Section!

But none of the efforts made actually deterred the attendees from going in mass to the sex toys booths.

The co-founder of the luxurious ‘Crave’, a vibrator company, Michael Topolovac said that the warm reception received was nothing expected. His company operated a station that allows you to make your own vibrator during the show. He revealed that the mood of the crowd was one that held promise of a viable market and this indicated the possibility of the business becoming very big and mainstream.

This year, a product from Lioness – a smart vibrator, made it to the final stage of the Consumer Electronics Show’s competition for last standing gadget after it had its application for participation rejected last year.

The smart vibrator, as the name implies has a level of intelligence. The vibrator from Lioness makes use of biofeedback data which helps it track the sexual response of the body during use and measure the orgasm quality experienced. From the data collected, it gives feedback to the user on improvements to make during the next session. Typical artificial intelligence!

The co-founder of Lioness Anna Lee no longer feels like they are just surviving the Consumer Electronics Show – after they had their application rejected last year, instead they are beginning to feel like they are flourishing in CES. She revealed they are hopeful the organizing committee for CES will make this more than an experimental run.

IF sex robots get prime space, so should Sex Toys

All they want is to be treated like people displaying conventional products like having smart-watch booths next to theirs. She also added that the basis for the show is for the display of most tech advanced products making the question of whether the product is a taboo or not secondary; and fight it all you want — that includes sex toys!

Some of the interesting products at this year’s CES include: a product from Yukai Engineering – a Japanese company, called Qoobo. Qoobo is a pillow in the form of a cat’s tail that can purr. The product also responds to voice and petting by the user making it an ideal product for those unable to own real pets maybe because of landlord rules or age. The prize for this year’s small size version is not fixed yet but it should be lower than the previous $149 version.

Another product on display at the Consumer Electronics Show was ‘Bot Chef’ by Samsung. The pair of robotic arms is a kitchen product that hangs from an overhead cupboard. The Bot Chef can make coffee, chop ingredients and work the cooker. Until Samsung puts the product on sale, you are not free to drop your apron yet.

WELT, a Korean company displayed their Smart belt which measures the waistline every time you wear it. it also has sensors that monitor your gait, which is very helpful for customers prone to falls – like old people.

LoveWorks won’t be on display at the 2021 CES, but we are always here.
